Priorities…we all talk about it many times in our personal and professional lives. But how many of us actually have clear and defined priorities in our lives ? We always complain that we don’t get time for things and it is difficult to live up to the expectations of the jobs in hand.

One solution for this is to have a list of priorities even though flexible but do keep them. First go and type or write down the list of priorities in your life , and keep writing the list everyday when you get up in the morning and review it at the end of the day.

This list of changing priorities will give you a good idea about where your life is going to.

A very easy question rather, isn’t it? Everyone knows what an entrepreneurship is all about.

From one of the simple definition (source Wikipedia) : “An Entrepreneurship is the practice of starting new organizations or revitalizing mature organizations , particularly new businesses generally in response to identified opportunities.”

I agree with how most of the people define entrepreneurship but there is another important aspect which people and entrepreneurs in general tend to overlook. That aspect is looking at Entrepreneurship as a thought which first comes to mind then runs into your blood resulting in a person who thinks innovatively for benefits of his and the society.

Did I mention society?

But how a startup’s entrepreneur can think of society and state welfare even when it’s difficult for him to run the company’s day to day expenses? Once you actually start running a company on the ground than the only thing which matters is profit and survival.Society, people and welfare are all things which are good to be read in books. In capitalist economy where Entrepreneurship can exist, don’t advocates about society and common welfare.

The above arguments are quite popular ones and my answer to above arguments is very simple and logical, what will happen to Entrepreneurship if society or people are not flourishing, because these are the basic building elements that drive the Capitalist economy and thus Entrepreneurship.

Any startup which maintains a balance between profit making and having sense of giving back to society by whatever means, can only be put into category of real Entrepreneurship. In world and specifically in India we have dearth of this type of Entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneurship if adopted in its true sense then it can become the driving factor for overall growth of all the sections of society even in the Capitalist form of economy.

Your thoughts are welcome!!

Also I am trying to redirect you thoughts towards another related important question that why today many people want to become Entrepreneurs? This would be my next topic of discussion.
