I agree with you Supreeti, but had it been a well established company with clear direction and strategy then your arguments would have looked perfect. But when we have a small start ups and they try to categorise themselves then they in a way restrict or i should say they stop their flexibility. A startup should categorised themselves only once they are sure that they have a clear road ahead and they would not change their plans in any case. What if the same Gobyroad company starts building CRMs for other travel companies in future?

Companies are categorised on the basis of what defines their core business. What market they are getting into & what is their vision can help analysts help classify an organisation. The supporting segments (IT, procurement etc) help run the operations. For the ‘GoByRoad.com ‘ example, even though IT or Telecom costs may be the incumbent expenditure areas but all of these are part of a sys to achieve the core business which is — travel

Reading this reminded me of the discussion we had in mysore; anywayz, check out the Arvind Eye hospital’s ‘Infinite Vision’ video.Google that.
U’ll find that u cna have cash in bank + social work go hand in hand, but i’ll echo the same point, u need to have a great support sys for this.
